Dan Clark receives Summer Fellowship for USFS Project on Park Usage

Congratulations to Dan Clark who received the Center for Resilient Landscapes Fellowship for the summer. He will be working with Michelle Kondo from the USFS on a project about park usage.

Lauren Frazee Receives Buell Award

Congratulations to Lauren Frazee who received this year’s Buell Award! This award consists of a scholarship for Lauren and a scholarship for an undergraduate to work with her during the upcoming academic year.

Run for the Woods Tomorrow!

Join us tomorrow at the Rutgers Ecological Preserve for our annual Run for the Woods. It's a super fun 5K trail run that starts at 9am.

More details from Joni Baumgarten below:
Come enjoy the spring flowers on this single-loop trail through the woods! Proceeds benefit restoration within the preserve as well as EcoGSA.

We have two pairs of sneakers from RoadRunner Sports for the top male and female runner, and native plants from the Pinelands Nursery for age group prizes. Delicious post-run bagels are donated by Bagel Bros.

Advanced registration is $25, day of registration is $30. Packet pick-up will be held at Road Runner Sports in North Brunswick on Friday May 12th from 5-7pm, and runners get an additional 10% off any purchases. Race materials can also be picked up the morning of the race starting at 8:00 am.
